Rejoice, heathens! 31 Days of Gore returns October 1st! To all the authority figures who told me my love for horror movies would amount to nothing: Do you have a blog that nets tens of dozens of visitors every month? No? Didn’t think so, suckers!
As is customary, even I don’t know which movies I’ll feature until I actually watch ’em (making lists just feels like homework), but here are some of the traditions I developed over the years:
- SOV (shot-on-video)
- A melt movie
- J-Horror
- Italo-horror (my favorite)
- Slasher films
- Empire/Full Moon
- An anthology film
You can also expect me to suffer work my way through a horror franchise and its sequels each Friday (I used to marathon-watch a series in a single day, but I’m in my 40s now so you can GET THE HELL OFF MY LAWN).
