In case you missed the news yesterday, there’s now an official YouTube channel for Gruelgo! Buddy, listen: I need you to subscribe. I need you to ring the bell or whatever the hell you kids are doing these days—I won’t judge. I’m hip. I’m cool, daddy-o. I just need you to like, dislike, comment… whatever. Just do it, foo’.

Gruelgo returns in the next comic, coming this Friday. BELIEVE!

You know what’s new? The Gruelgo YouTube channel is live! Personally, I hate when annoying YouTubers tell you to POUND THAT LIKE BUTTON and SMASH SUBSCRIBE! But I don’t have to ask you to do that, right? You were totally going to do it anyway! The roadmap for my YouTube career involves: an annoyingly loud intro purchased from Fiverr, obviously fake prank videos, and a contrived feud with Keemstar! Partnership, here I come!

In the meantime, check out my time lapsed drawings of Gruelgo comics and listen to the music I make when I’m not drawin’ and playin’ video games! (Oh, and pound that like button and smash subscribe while you’re there, thanks.

Here’s a pin-up that may or may not be included in the upcoming Gruelgo comic book—depends on how many pages I need to fill when all is said and done! It ain’t cheap printing physical copies, so if the story runs longer than expected (and it looks like it might at this point) I won’t have much room for filler! Seriously, though, I spent a lot of time writing the Gruelgo comic book and it’s going to be of a much higher quality than these ol’ peasant strips, ye hear? That’s why the damned thing is taking so long! Optimistically, it’ll be done in March. Realistically, it’ll be done sometime before the heat death of the universe.

Gruelgo is now on Facebook. (Yay, yet another site to maintain!) I’m uploading past comics there at a steady rate instead of dumping them all at once, but eventually it’ll be on the same schedule as the other sites. And yeah, I’ve fallen behind on my Reddit posting, but those dirty hipsters wouldn’t know a good comic strip even if their avocado lattes delivered it straight to their goatee’d faces!

Are you a glass half full kind of person or do you typically expect a glass half full of murder hornets? 2020 might be the bootloader for an even worse year, but 2021 has at least one thing to look forward to: the full length Gruelgo comic book, coming soon!

Diabro and Lamar are staying with Gruelgo and Birgitta now! If that isn’t contrived, I don’t know what is!

My two biggest rules for Gruelgo were 1) No politics and 2) No current events. But hey, rule makers can be rule breakers, right?
